The Cambrian Abduction

An ancient fossil reveals a threat older than humanity.

When paleontologist Matt Thornton finds fossil evidence of an ancient civilization, he asks Harvard computational biologist Sara Morin if she can provide genomic corroboration of his discovery.

Six hours later, Matt and his wife are on life support — their minds wiped clean by aliens — and Sara is on the run with his math prodigy son, Charlie, the only witness. He tells her the aliens can look like anyone, and they’re hunting down everyone who knows about the fossil.

With a fragment of alien DNA as their only lead, Sara and Charlie must evade both the aliens and a US government determined to bury the truth, and find a way to reverse what's been done to Charlie's parents before it's too late.

From San Francisco to Area 51 to the forests of Vermont to the labs of Harvard, Sara races to decode the DNA’s secrets — the only chance to save Charlie's family and possibly the human race.
